Core Budget ("we", "us") helps individuals and families in India organise their money. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it. Your financial data belongs to you, and we never sell it.
We collect the account details you provide, such as your name and email, and the financial information you choose to enter — transactions, budgets, goals, bills, loans, credit cards, investments and tax notes. We do not require you to link a bank account; all financial entries are made by you.
We use your information only to provide and improve the app: to store and display your data, compute budgets, goals and net worth, send reminders you have set up, and support household and approval features.
If you use a household, members you add can see shared data according to the roles you set. Parents may review and approve expenses submitted by linked accounts. You control who is in your household.
We do not sell your personal or financial data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the app (such as secure hosting), under strict confidentiality, and where required by law.
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
You can access, correct or delete your data at any time from within the app. To request a full export or account deletion, contact us.
